This is the beginning of my Portrait Painting story. My friend Tammy & I
decided we would attend a Valerie Stewart Seminar in Lafayette, La. for the
start of our portrait careers. Not even my broken jaw was going to stop me!
What? No cajun food? My oral surgeon gave me permission to remove my bands to
eat. LOL And he loosened them up, so I could jabber jaw, much to the dismay of
some, I'm sure. *GRIN* This is just the beginning of our friendship
with Valerie. Enjoy our story.
Tammy & I met up in Baton Rouge- & immediately
went to a few stores, including a Hobby Lobby. Then we drive on to
Lafayette. Yippee!!
We arrived at our hotel, & immediately get to work
on prep work- base coating our canvas', & then tracing our patterns
on. I chose my son David, & George Strait.
That evening Tammy & I went to a few stores,
including Hobby Lobby & Michaels. |

The VS Louisiana Class of 07 |
This
was a nice group of people from all over. Thanks to all of you for letting
me get to know you, even if it was only a small bit. |
And our fearless leader- Valerie Stewart. |
Who
met the challenge of ME. LOL
And who has encouraged me to keep trying.
Thank You! |
While I headed straight home to Alabama, Tammy
shopped
her way back to Mississippi, including stops at Hobby Lobby's &
Michaels.
I hope you've enjoyed the beginning of my portrait
painting adventure.
Yes Valerie- you are not done with me yet. ;) |
